The information Women’s Health Associates is getting from the CDC about the Zika virus is rapidly changing, but we want to keep you informed on how this health issue affects you.

At this time, we recommend that if you are pregnant, you should NOT travel to areas affected by the Zika virus. We are happy to provide a letter to support your efforts in canceling those travel plans.Zika Virus

If you are pregnant and have traveled (while pregnant), to one of those countries in the last 2-12 weeks, please contact our office for testing.

If one of the following situations applies to you, please call our office for further instructions from our phone triage Nurses:

-You are trying to get pregnant and have travel plans to Zika-affected areas
-You are pregnant, have not travelled to a Zika-affected area, but your Partner has been to a Zika-affected area in the last 12 weeks.

If you have any other questions, please call our office to speak with our phone triage Nurses.

You can reach us at (913) 677-3113
