GARDASIL 9 is a major health breakthrough. It is the only vaccine that may help guard against diseases caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, 58 which cause a large proportion of cervical cancer and genital wart cases. GARDASIL 9 is a preventative series of 3 injections, and it is now FDA approved for girls and women ages 9 to 45. The physician will determine if other patients are good candidates for this vaccine.
Below is our office policy for the administration of Gardasil 9:
- The charge for each injection is $300.00 plus a $37.00 injection fee. Please know this does not include any office visit charges you may incur at the time of your initial visit.
- If your insurance plan covers GARDASIL 9, WHA will collect any applicable copays and submit your claim to your carrier for processing. Please know you will be responsible for any amounts that are subject to deductible or that are not covered by your insurance plan.
- If your insurance plan does not cover GARDASIL 9, you will be responsible to pay in full (for the injection received during that visit) prior to receiving the injection. All self-paying patients will receive a 20% discount for paying at the time of service.
- Subsequent injections are done 2 months and 6 months after the initial injection. Please know that the patient must be financially current (i.e., paid in full) before WHA will administer subsequent injections.
Appointments are required for injections. If you are unable to schedule your next injection on the day you receive one, please call at least two (2) weeks in advance to schedule your next injection.
